Take Action

If you are concerned about Minnesota's rapid growth, our environment and your community, we encourage you to sign up now as a Citizen Visionary and help send a powerful message to candidates in Minnesota's next election. Minnesota needs people just like you!

Become a Citizen Visionary

The Envision Minnesota Project will host a convention and a gubernatorial debate in St. Cloud on September 16th. Please consider joining us that day. When you sign on as a Citizen Visionary we will keep you posted on details.

In the meantime, here are a few things you can do to help:

First, when you see candidates ask them if they have read the Envision Minnesota key recommendations and ask them what they think. Press them for some detail, but recognize that these issues are complex and we can't expect any candidate to have all the answers. If they do have all the answers, think twice!

Second, when you talk with your friends and family about Envision Minnesota make sure they know that the project is supported by Minnesotans that work and play hard, hunt, watch birds, fish and teach. We have faith leaders, business and community leaders, young, old and every one in between ... the Envision Minnesota Project includes people who care - like you!

Third, when you talk to candidates be considerate and respectful, even when you disagree vehemently. Nothing greases the wheels of good dialogue like respect. The Envision Minnesota project is all about long-term thinking and that means allowing our leaders and politicians to make mistakes, consider new ideas and change their thinking.

Fourth, share information about the Envision Minnesota Project with your family, friends and colleagues. Send them this website address (www.envisionminnesota.org) and encourage them to also become citizen visionaries.
